For the longest time, I struggled to justify the cost of adding area rugs to my home. It makes sense; they’re often quite pricey, and the decision feels really large and important! I get it, it can be hard to commit to such a large purchase but I am here to tell you, that once you start adding area rugs to your home, you’ll look back and wonder why you waited so long.

An area rug really can add beauty and comfort to your home, and really pulls the space together. There used to be a popular hashtag that I used to use in my content “#rugmadetheroom” and I still continue to resonate with that. The rug above is easily one of my most requested ones. The combination of mottled neutral base color and raised texture provides a lot of visual interest, but also makes it one that wears very well with children and pets. The tassled ends are beautiful as well, and provide a little more surface area to fill the space. This stunning rug from Loloi is truly one of the most beautiful I’ve owned. The texture is absolutely stunning, and the tassled detail is *chef’s kiss*. It’s a little more high maintenance so I have this one in a room that doesn’t see as much high traffic (a bedroom/guest room would be perfect) but despite a lot of texture, it does vacuum up well! Buckle up folks because I am about to rave about quite literally the softest rug I own. This rug from Loloi was on my wishlist after falling in love with it at my friend’s home, and it does not disappoint. Incredibly soft and plush, but easy to clean and hides mess; this rug is an absolute star. Shop this favorite here.

The last rug I’d like to highlight is also a Loloi rug; can you tell I’m a fan? I really like their rugs because although the price point can be slightly higher, the quality really is unparallelled to others. I also really like the patterns and how they wear really well for a busy household. This rug from the Angela Rose x Loloi collab is beautiful and I really like the delicate fringe edge.
